ASAR GALLERY OF ART

SCHOOL OF SHIRAZ :
Lasting from 770 to 910 (A.H.), the School of Shiraz was one of the most important in the Persian tradition.

The works of the Shiraz School were fully two-dimension paintings, notable even today for their use of "conjecturing" as an artistic technique. Calligraphy of Iranian handwriting is another of the school's distinctive methods. The inclusion of calligraphy within artwork distinguished the Shiraz School from both predecessors contemporaries.
