of the city of Damavand (65 kms. North East of Tehran) and the
surrounding mountains. To the right on the top of a hill there
are shrines of Emamazadeh 'Abdollah and Emamzadeh' Oleydollah
with conic domes (6th cent.A.H. 12 th A.D. ) To the left is
the Masjed-e Jame of Damavand with its minaret built in the 9th
century A.H. (12th A.D.)
